Travelodge launches new ‘luxury’ rooms on a budget – from £42 per night

T

TRAVELODGE now has ‘super rooms’ for extra comfort, from £42 per night.

The Travelodge super rooms have a Lavazza coffee machine, the choice of firm or soft hypoallergenic pillows and a 32” Samsung TV.

Earlier this year, Travelodge announced that it was introducing a new budget luxe premium look and feel design, upgrading 30 of its hotels to a new budget luxe hotel design.

The upgraded room also features a new bathroom design, with a new curved shower and a Hansgrohe Raindance 3jet adjustable shower, which has three different water flow settings.

Another great feature is the ironing board, as all rooms come equipped with an in-room iron and ironing board.

Here are some of the best rates we’ve found for Super Rooms in October:

  • Bath Waterside – from £53 per night
  • Manchester Piccadilly – from £45 per night
  • Bristol Central Mitchell Lane – from £45 per night
  • Cambridge Newmarket Road – from £52 per night
  • Brighton Seafront – from £55 per night
  • Birmingham Central Bull Ring – from £46 per night
  • Liverpool Exchange Street – from £42 per night

The hotels have the on-site Bar Café, which offers a breakfast, dinner and bar menu service.

The unlimited hot buffet breakfasts start from only £8.99, and for each paying adult, two children under the age of 15 eat for free.

Cooked options include a full English breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, beans and toast, or you could opt for vegetarian sausages.

While fruit salads, yoghurts, croissants and cereals are also included for a lighter option.

Travelodge has also released 800,000 rooms for just £8.24pp.

The bargain rooms are available across 580 hotels in the UK, but you will have to be quick to get the biggest deals.

Premier Inn has also launched midweek stays from £48 per night.
