‘What’s he done to deserve that?’ – Chelsea fans mocked for their DREADFUL song for new signing Kalidou Koulibaly

Kalidou koulibaly has already stolen the hearts of the Chelsea faithful following his standout performance in their Premier League opener against Everton.

The defender played 75 minutes alongside Thiago Silva and club captain Cesar Azpilicueta before being replaced by Marc Cucurella.

The 31-year-old was impressive as he made his first competitive start for Chelsea, playing a crucial pass to Ben Chilwell before the wing-back was brought down for a penalty.

Jorginho stepped up from the spot to convert in Chelsea’s only goal of the game in the 1-0 victory at Goodison Park.

Despite his fantastic performance, Koulibaly appeared to struggle physically, going down with cramp twice in the second period.

Kalidou Koulibaly won 100 per cent of his tackles, completed all of his dribbles, made 31 passes, one clearance, one interception and one last man tackle.

But as a reward for his fine form, Chelsea fans have come up with DREADFUL chant.

The chant goes: “Aaaaaaaaay Koulibaly, ooh aah, I wanna knoooow he’s from Senegal.”

Some say it rivals the Blues’ famous “Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea” chant.

One fan responded on Twitter saying: “Can’t be real, no way man.”

Another footy fan said: “That Koulibaly song. What’s the poor bloke done to deserve that?”

The chant has also left fans asking for clarity.

Responding to the video, another Twitter user said: “Are they asking us or telling us he’s from Senegal? Need some clarity here.”

Up next for Kalidou Koulibaly will be his biggest test in a Chelsea shirt.

The Blues face rivals Tottenham next on August 14.

And Spurs arguably have the best front three in the Premier League.

The trio Son Heung-min, Harry Kane and Dejan Kulusevski has the potential to run riot at Stamford Bridge.

With Kalidou  Koulibaly going down on several occasions, Chelsea fans were no doubt worried about their new signing but their concerns have now been eased by head coach Tuchel.
