Lisa Beamer is an American author.

She is predominantly known as the widow of Todd Beamer, the brave passenger on United Airline Flight 93 who had fought the al-Qaeda hijackers on the day of 9/11.

Her husband Todd was the man who had encouraged the passengers to fight the hijackers and crash the plane onto another place rather than its intended target.

The purpose of the place hijack was to crash into its target; the White House or the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.

Lisa Beamer gave birth to her third child and her first daughter, Morgan after four months of the 9/11 attack.

After losing her beloved husband Todd to the crash, she did not give up on life rather chose to continue his legacy of braveness.

She gained a high profile as a surviving family member of Todd and gained more than 200 media appearances in six months. Lisa also went on to get introduced to many events by the then US President, George W. Bush.

She and her family started a life of high connections due to Todd’s death on the day of the 9/11 attacks.

Where Is She Now?

Lisa Beamer usually travels through the country especially on September 11, the anniversary of the 9/11 attack.

As of 2021, she visited Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois, for the occasion and spoke with her husband.

She is originally from Albany, New York, while her late husband Todd was born in Flint, Michigan.

The late Todd had settled in Wheaton thus, the surviving Beamer family also resides in the same place as of today.

Update On Her Children And Family 2021

Lisa Beamer now lives with her complete family of four which includes her three children as of 2021.

Her children are; two sons, David and Andrew, and a daughter named Morgan.

Lisa did not remarry rather went on to find a career in book writing and charity service. She is the co-author of her book “Let’s Roll!: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Courage” along with Ken Abraham.

The book talks about Todd and her life before the crash and her attempts to deal with her grief over his death.

Similarly, she also established the Todd M. Beamer Foundation which works for the betterment of trauma in children.

As of 2021, Lisa has dedicated herself to her children and her works that are named after the late Todd.
