People are only just realising why Dairy Milk chocolate & Freddos taste different – and they’re saying one is much nicer

A WOMAN has caused a debate online after claiming that Dairy Milk chocolate is tastier than Freddos because it’s made the “original” way, and in Ireland.

She took to her Omm Fun Facts TikTok page to share a video explaining the differences between the chocolate bar and the frog-shaped chocolate treats.

“Recently have you eaten a Cadbury’s Dairy Milk and then had a Freddo and wondered why the Freddo tastes better than the Dairy Milk?” she began.

“Well Freddos are actually made in Ireland, making them nicer, smoother and milkier compared to the Dairy Milk made in Birmingham.

“This is because they still make it the original way, whereas Birmingham changed it when they were taken over.

“Let me know if you taste the difference.”

People were quick to weigh in on her revelation, with one writing: “no way!

“Old people always say old cadburys was better… and I’ve always thought freddos were nicer and now I know why.”

“I knew it!!!!!” another added.

“yes this is true… my sister loved chocs from Ireland and would stock up… we only live in N.Ireland but ours come from uk mainland,” a third commented.

While someone else wrote: “Yes! I buy Freddos instead of other Cadbury for this exact reason!”

“I KNEW FREDDOS WERE BETTER !!! OMG,” another added.

As someone else agreed: “I’ve been saying this for years, I feel vindicated.”

“Just had one – totally agree,” another commented.

Fabulous has contacted Cadbury for comment.
