My neighbours won’t park their NINE cars on their drive because it looks ‘tacky’ – I took revenge & it cost them £91k

A WOMAN has told how she got the ultimate revenge on her neighbour who refused to park his NINE cars on his own driveway – and it cost him a whopping £91,000.

The anonymous woman took to Reddit and explained how her neighbour parks all of his vehicles on the road – including two in front of her house – which he won’t move for a week.

She went on to say how there’s a regulation where she lives that you can’t leave your car parked in the same spot for more than 48 hours – something which he chooses to ignore.

In the post, she claimed: “My neighbours have a pretty big driveway where they can fit four cars, but it’s always empty.

“They have told me they don’t like to leave their driveway with cars because it looks tacky.

“Over half the cars they have they don’t even use them. They just use them to save parking spots for themselves.”

However, in 2021, the woman told how she noticed the family were building a second unit at the back of their main house.

“I noticed that they completed the house in under a month,” she explained.

“This raised some red flags because it takes anywhere from 2-3 months with city inspections taking the majority of time.”

Deciding to act upon it, the woman continued: “I submitted a ticket with my city through the app and advised them that their might be some illegal residential building without permits.

“I didn’t think of it much until a year later.

“I noticed my neighbours tearing down their second unit last week.

“Word got around our block park that a city inspector was there making sure everything was being torn down.

“Based on what they materials and labour they put into their second unit I cost them over $100,000 (£91,000).”

It wasn’t long before the post was flooded with comments, with many agreeing the woman was in the right.

“The driveway things sounds stupid. Never thought of it being tacky to have cars parked in a driveway,” wrote one.

A second commented: “Isn’t that the whole idea of a driveway?”
