Inter Milan Offered £20 Million New Shirt Sponsorship By Porn Company

I

Inter Milan have been offered a £20 million new shirt sponsorship deal by a porn company, Stripchat.

The Serie A leaders are famous for their Pirelli shirts but the club announced in March that the 26-year kit relationship will finish at the end of this season. Pirelli-sponsored kits have been worn by Inter legends from Javier Zanetti to Brazilian Ronaldo.

However next season the tyre manufacturer are concluding their estimated £10-per-year deal – and Stripchat want to step in and fill the gap on Inter’s blue-and-black shirts.

Stripchat is apparently an international adult website and social network, featuring live-streamed webcam performances (we would not know).

However the company’s early mock-up, per The Sun, seems to show their sponsorship over a red-and-black shirt.

Which is the colours of Inter’s city rivals AC Milan. So it’s almost like they are only doing this for publicity and don’t expect Inter to take up their offer. Weird.

The Italian giants could certainly do with the financial windfall, however. The club are reportedly in serious financial trouble, partly as a result of the pandemic, and require a £146 million cash boost before next season begins.

A new lead sponsor will be a big part of that. Although we’re not sure that Serie A, a league where you can be banned for blasphemy, is ready for an adult-themed shirt sponsor.

Inter’s association with Pirelli dates back to the 1995/96 season.

The current deal finishes when the 2020/21 season comes to an end and Pirelli chief executive Marco Tronchetti Provera confirmed that, while they will still have a relationship with the Nerazzurri, they won’t be shirt sponsors.

“We are in talks with [Alessandre] Antonello, [Beppe] Marotta and other Inter directors,” he told Gr Parlamento.

“We won’t be Inter’s kit sponsor anymore, but our relationship with the club will continue.”

Inter Milan side currently lead the Serie A standings, six points ahead of AC Milan and 10 points ahead of Juventus (who have a game in hand).

So at least a happy ending in the league looks on the cards for Antonio Conte’s side.
