A YOUTUBER who splashes out on exotic holidays and supercars has revealed how he became a millionaire by the time he turned 29.
Charlie Chang coins in more than £1.3million a year by sharing financial advice online.
He left college in 2014 and was eyeing up a career as a doctor but was rejected by more than 15 medical schools.
Chang, from California, then started tutoring on side hustles for five years, as well as picking up modelling jobs and starting his own business.
But he wasn’t satisfied with the amount he was earning and turned his attention to YouTube.
Chang started posting videos almost every day and was drawing in around a dozen views on each clip.
But after the pandemic hit in 2020, his views rocketed, as users began clicking on his stimulus-related content in the US.
Chang told CNBC: “When my videos went viral, I registered for YouTube Adsense to further monetize my channel.
“That’s when my passive income journey began. In 2021, I made $1.5million dollars in revenue.”
Raking in the cash, Chang – who has 820,000 subscribers on YouTube – now enjoys a life of luxury.
His Instagram page reveals how he spends his money on supercars, plush holidays and designer brands.
One photo shows him posing beside a white Ferrari 458, which can retail for more than £200,000.
He splurged on the supercar last November – but told his followers to “prioritise experiences over material things”.
Chang wrote: “Getting this car was less surreal than when I got my 2-17 BMW 3 series four years ago.
“I remember driving home in that car, thinking I was dreaming because it was the nicest thing I had ever owned.
“So what I learned is that material things don’t really matter.
“You get desensitised to them and it’s the experiences that stay with you.”
In other photos, Chang can be seen soaking up the sunshine in a pool in Miami, sipping on a cocktail in Costa Rica and exploring Hawaii.
Meanwhile, social media celeb Lord Aleem has shown off his huge supercar collection, including a Bugatti Chiron worth almost £3million.
The YouTuber made his money as owner of two luxury car hire companies: Platinum Executive Travel (PET) and PET Dubai.
The companies allow customers to experience a slice of the money-no-object lifestyle that Aleem himself enjoys.
His nearly 500,000 YouTube subscribers and 700,000 Instagram followers are regularly given glimpses of his globetrotting lifestyle.
