Fan banned for life after URINATING on top of Sydney Cricket Ground stand in England’s series-clinching win vs Australia

A rugby fan has been banned for life after allegedly URINATING off the top of the O’Reilly Stand during the England’s victory to Australia on Saturday night.

The man, 31, was filmed in the act after climbing to the vantage point at the Sydney Cricket Ground during the second half of the Test.

He was subsequently arrested by NSW police and charged with behaving in an offensive manner in/near a public place and climbing on buildings on scheduled lands without approval.

Sydney Cricket Ground issued a two-year ban and Rugby Australia have gone even further with a lifetime ban.

Rugby Australia said in a statement: “The deplorable actions of the alleged intruder that made his way to the roof of the grandstand were disgraceful and dangerous.

“This individual has been issued with a life ban from Rugby Australia events – and we will continue to support the authorities in their handling of the matter.”

Video also emerged of another fan berating England coach Eddie Jones.

Aussie Jones was branded a “traitor” which led to a confrontation.

Jones responded: “What did you say? What did you say? Come here and say it. Come here and say it. Come here and say it.”

The England coach then walked away.

Rugby Australia‘s statement added: “The offensive remarks made by spectators … towards England staff were unacceptable – and not representative of the values of rugby.

“We have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour, and we are working with Venues NSW on appropriate sanctions for these individuals.”

England won the deciding third Test 21-17 to clinch the series 2-1.
