MANCHESTER CITY star Erling Haaland has been pictured with a daring new hairstyle as he recovers from injury.

The goal machine was seen with two long braids rather than his usual haircut of the pulled back ponytail.

The 22-year-old appeared in a Halloween skit posted on Man City’s social media pages where fellow injured teammate Kalvin Phillips attempted to scare his colleagues in a mask.

The England star was not be able to frighten Haaland who was unfazed but it sent fans into a frenzy regarding his new hairstyle.

City supporters seem to love it, one said: “Haaland’s viking hair is brazy – he needs to run a match with this.”

Another said: “He looks like something out of a film.”

More fans commented: “It looks better that way.”

Some begged for the Norwegian striker to keep his hair in braids and tweeted Haaland to say: “Keep the hair, pleaseee.”

Later on, the ex-Borussia Dortmund striker was photographed at a Halloween party in a viking’s costume paying homage to his Scandinavian heritage.

Haaland further celebrated tweeting “Happy Haalandween” to his followers.

He has netted an incredible 22 goals in a Man City shirt since his summer move and is now recovering from an injury that kept him out of the clash versus Leicester.

With Pep Guardiola’s side already through in the Champions League Haaland is expected to sit out the match versus Sevilla to recover from his ligament issue.

But Guardiola has provided a fresh update on Haaland’s fitness.

The Spaniard admits there’s no chance his star forward will face Sevilla on Wednesday, with City already booking their place in the Champions League knockout stages.

And there’s just a slim chance Haaland returns in time for next weekend against Fulham.

Yet despite suffering ligament damage in his foot, the Norwegian should be fit in time for the Carabao Cup clash against Chelsea.

But he may be back to play Fulham on Saturday in the Premier League.
