BBC apologise after England star Jill Scott ’s X-rated blast as Lioness is fouled by German during Euro 2022 final

THE BBC had to apologise after Jill Scott let off a passionate expletive filled outburst during England’s Euro 2022 win.

England Women won 2-1 in a tense Wembley final thanks to Chloe Kelly’s extra-time winner.

IT was the scruffiest of winning goals but no-one cares.

Substitute Chloe Kelly struck the crucial goal in the 110th minute of extra-time for England’s Lionesses to rewrite history and win their first European Women’s Championship at a sold out Wembley.

But minutes before that crucial goal tempers flared in what became a physical game between the two European powerhouses.

After Scott’s foul by Germany’s Syndey Lohmann she immediately sprang to her feet to give her opponent a piece of her mind.

The 35-year-old could be seen saying: “F*** off you f***ing p****”.

BBC commentator Robyn Cowen apologised to offended viewers straight away as it was clear what Scott said, even without sound

Cowen said: “Apologies to any lip readers.

“Not sure you need to be one to figure out what Jill Scott thought of that.”

But many viewers loved the passion on display from the veteran midfielder, with one suggesting MBE Jill Scott now deserves an OBE.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “Check out Jill Scott’s ‘F*** off, you f***ing p****’ if you can. Sound of the summer.”

Another added: “Jill Scott deserves an OBE for services to furious swearing. textbook. inspirational.”

And a third said: “She must be protected at all costs. she is the best of britain. Dame Jill Scott.”
